The 8th annual Victoria Amnesty International Film Festival runs November 20th – 22nd. The festival takes place in the David Lam Auditorium at UVic. There will be a Human Rights Fair in the University Centre Lobby at 6:30pm each night, followed by film screenings at 7:00pm.

ALEX CUBA On Friday November 6th, Atomique Productions presents Alex Cuba with Kuba Oms. The show is at Element Nightclub (919 Douglas Street). It’s an early show and doors are at 7:30pm. Tickets are available at Lyle’s Place, Ditch Records, and on Ticketweb.ca
Still looking for something to do on Halloween? Come out and support the UVic Vikes Basketball teams on October 31st as they face Simon Fraser University.
