Local multi-instrumentalist Kennan Mittag-Degala is Elan Noon. Elan Noon is Mittag-Degala’s contemporary folk solo project. Known locally as the wild drummer in Kuje schoolgirl, the sister blanch live band, loving, and Jons. Last November, Elan Noon released his highly anticipated sophomore album “Colour Story” with David Parry of Loving.

Local artist Niloo Farahzadeh explores the boundaries of dad-rock as Niloo. You may recognize Niloo’s voice from the local duo LOOELLE. Niloo recently released their single “Funny Face” with support from Billy Young (co-founder of VILA presents), Halifax artist Jen Yakamovich and Cartoon Lizard members Shilo Preshyon, Ritchie Hemphill.
