Thursday Dec. 27, 3:30 to 5:00 pm, NATURE BOY will air the second part of a special documentary on his Sept 2012 trip to Canada’s high arctic. George Sirk travelled 2800 miles by ship through the NW Passage to Greenland. He’ll feature recordings from Skraeling , Ellesmere and Greenland Islands. The ship got to within 595 nautical miles of the North Pole! Ivory Gulls, Narwhals, the massive changes the arctic is undergoing – all on “Blue Ice, White Bear – the raw, the bleak, the beautiful”.

Sunday, Dec. 30, 3:30 to 5:00 pm, NATURE BOY will present the “TEN TOP NATURE STORIES OF 2012”. Theses are the stories you will not hear on any other show. Which was the newest bird to be discovered? Newest reptile? Newest particle!? Where is Santa planning to relocate after the big bad meltdown of the arctic? Featuring interviews with leading specialists and heretics.
