Written by Operations Director on 09/16/2014
Maximus, a 102 lb 2 year old St. Bernard-Great Pyrenees mix who was surrendered to the BC SPCA after being hit by a car needs a home!Maximus was transferred to the BC SPCA Victoria branch through the Drive for Lives program, which transfers animals between shelters to support capacity and cost of care needs.
With his injuries, Maximus required multiple surgeries and the Victoria branch was able to take on his medical costs as well as provide better access to surgeons.
Branch Manager Annie Prittie Bell says that Maximus is a “calm, lovely dog who loves being around people and likes other dogs.”
He’s now ready for a loving family to take him!
