The Vancouver Island Hardcore Society (VIHS) hosted an all-ages fundraiser at the Fernwood Community Center on November 20th to promote Hardcore music on the island and the Martlet provided an interesting take on the evening! CFUV’s own Troy Lemburg of the Action Index is the current president of VIHS and one of the six founding members. The purpose of the society is to create an inclusive atmosphere for hardcore in Victoria to promote and educate the culture of hardcore music. CFUV 101.9 is a proud supporter of the society and has hosted bands in-studio. No Eulogy performed at CFUV during the month of November, so hit this link for their LIVE performance.
