4th Annual Memorial March for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women

The 4th Annual Memorial March for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women is this Sunday, February 12th. This is a memorial march to honour the over 600 missing and murdered women from Vancouver Island and all across Canada. Everyone is welcome to attend.

The march will begin at 12:00 noon in front of Our Place, 919 Pandora avenue. People will be gathering at 11:00 am for coffee and tea.  The memorial will start at noon with an opening prayer and territory acknowledgement. The walk will commence down Pandora, turn left on Government st. and make our way to Thunderbird Park stopping along the way for speeches and moments of silence.  At Thunderbird Park there will be food and speeches.
