CFUV’s staff continue to monitor COVID-19 responses and guidelines issued by the University of Victoria, the Island Health Authority, and the BC-Center for Disease Control. During this time, CFUV encourages all volunteers, staff, and members of the wider Victoria Community to take all necessary precautions to limit the spread of COVID-19.

Submitting pre-recorded content
If you are pre-recording please upload the content to our shared G-Drive. Make sure to let staff know if you do! If you’re using the draft digital logsheet, clicking submit will automatically email it to Arcade and Troy. If the sheet doesn’t work for you, please email your playlist and log in.
Campus Closure – scope of closure
CFUV will be transitioning to as remote a system as possible over the next few days. Please confirm with the staff which of the options described in the March 16th Response Plan suits your needs by Wednesday March 18th.
How will programming work if CFUV closes?
CFUV’s broadcast will continue regardless of the scope of a campus closure, staff are able to remotely access the studio computers and can schedule and monitor playlists. We ask that any volunteers who can record or produce content from home do so instead of coming to the station. This content can be uploaded through the google drive link above.
Are the studios being kept clean?
Yes, CFUV’s staff have introduced a regular cleaning schedule for the studios. The studios will go through the following process at least 4 times a day:

What does this mean for Funding Drive?
Funding drive is not as important as the health and safety of our volunteers. We will automate and remotely program Funding Drive content, but will under no circumstances risk the health and safety of CFUV volunteers, staff, or their families.
