Hi there, I just listened to an amazing song playing shortly after 9pm on Sunday Oct 11th, can you please send me the name of the song? It was a female vocalist and a fairly long song and I loved it!:-) Thank you and have a great night!

Could you tell me what the name of the song & artist for the track you were playing at 8:10pm January 1st? It was a beautiful dulcimer-heavy piece (before the vocal duet featuring violins; not the dulcimer-only track you played after), & I heard you announce that it’d been by “Brothers so & so”, but I didn’t quite catch the name. Thanks, & Happy New Year!

Hy Lyrica, it was a track by Pandit Shiv Kumar sharma called “Dogri” Folk tune. Dogri folk tunes come from Jammu and Himachal Pradesh of India.

      Esteemed DJs

You played a lovely song immediately before a brief DJ-speaking interlude wherein the DJ introduced the next song as a Bollywood track composed by an Italian. I was leaving a beach near Port Angeles, WA in the US and all hands in the car were too busy to note the time precisely, for which I am sorry.

Your show is great we r so glad u transmit to our favorite surf destinations

      Gratefully and eagerly,

      Dots

        Hi Dots,

Thanks for listening to our show. The track I played is from the 2015 bollywood movie “Dum Laga Ke Haisha” (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dum_Laga_Ke_Haisha). The background score for this movie was composed by the Italian music composer Andrea Guerra. However songs were composed by Anu Malik. See the above wiki link. Thanks.

        Hi Tony,

Thanks for listening. The track I played is by Chitra Singh. Jagjit and Chitra Singh, the husband wife duo created an amazing ghazal scene back in 80s. The name of the track I played is “Kabhi to Khul ke Baras”. Many of their tracks are available on Apple music, spotify and Amazon under varios Best of Jagjit and Chitra Singh compilations. Thanks.
