POSITION SUMMARY:
The Vikes Coordinator is responsible for organizing outreach and playing appropriate music at weekend Vikes basketball games. This will include the supervision of volunteers.
JOB TITLE: Vikes Coordinator

JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Prepare a variety of appropriate music playlists for Vikes Basketball Gamenights
- Maintain playlists and software used at events
- Play music for concourse crowds on Vikes Gamenights
- Set up and take down sound equipment at events
- Supervise other CFUV volunteers helping with outreach at the Vikes Gamenights
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience coordinating playlists with a digital media player
- Experience working in a social and fast-paced atmosphere
- Ability to work effectively with the public in a friendly-manner
- Understanding of CFUV’s mandate as a campus community radio station
TRAINING:
Must complete basic on-air training. Further training provided in sound equipment and promotional duties.
JOB LOCATION ON-CAMPUS:Â CFUV 101.9 FM, StudentUnionBuilding, RMB006.
WAGE: $11.00 an hour
HOURS:
- Flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, dependent on the Vikes Basketball Schedule
- 4 hours per game, estimated 36 hours during regular season, more hours if playoffs are reached by the Vikes teams
