CRD Launches EcoTunes Contest on Sustainable U

The Capital Regional District has launched the EcoTunes contest to support local arts, encourage environmental awareness and create opportunities for exchange and education between the arts and environmental sustainability. The EcoTunes Contest, which runs until May 18, 2011, offers a chance for local, professional and amateur songwriters of all ages to celebrate the region’s landscapes and natural areas through music. Entrants may submit an original song via YouTube for a chance to win a $500 gift certificate with Larsen Music. For more info check out their website at sustainableu.ca/community/ecotunes.aspx.
