‘DRY WIT’ – AN EVENING OF EDUCATION AND ENTERTAINMENT
There are currently thousands of people in Victoria battling drug and alcohol addictions or struggling with mental illness. If you are currently in recovery, contemplating recovery, or are seeking information on behalf of a friend or loved one, then you need to know about ‘Dry Wit’, an evening of education and entertainment, taking place at the McPherson Playhouse on Friday, October 10.
The ‘Dry Wit’ event is organized by LifeRing Secular Recovery. For the first time ever, local addiction, mental health and community service providers will gather under one roof during Mental Health Awareness Week. The public can view the many recovery resources available to Victoria residents and enjoy a fabulous line-up of entertainment including magician Shayne King, comedian Ray Parker, and cabaret singer Nicky Deanne, musician John Gogo.
