Malahat Writing Contest

To mark UVic’s fiftieth year, The Malahat Review has launched a writing contest open to alumni, current students, and greater Victoria writers. First, second, and third prizes will be awarded in four categories: poetry, fiction, creative nonfiction, and dramatic monologue. Entries must be mailed by September 14, with winners announced in October. Winning entries will also be published on The Malahat Review’s website. First-prize winners will be interviewed for Malahat Lite and the Malahat website. All prize winners will also receive a complimentary one-year subscription to The Malahat Review.
