UVic presents Buffy Sainte-Marie!

Buffy Sainte-Marie will be performing on the UVic Outdoor Celebration Stage as part of Congress 2013. Opening the show will be former Chief from the boreal foothills in Northeastern BC, Art Napolean, as well as local performer Maureen Washington.
Sainte-Marie received a JUNO award and lifetime achievement award at the Aboriginal Peoples’ Choice Music Awards
in 2009, after releasing her 18th album Running for the Drum. This family friendly performance will begin at 4:30pm and is free and open to everyone.
