CFUV is hiring a Women’s Collective Coordinator Assistant

CFUV is looking for new members to add to our weird and wonderful collection of staff!

We are hiring a Women’s Collective Coordinator Assistant! 

This position is part of the workstudy program at UVic. If you qualify under this program, consider applying for this part-time job with CFUV. The successful candidate will:

1.  Assist with podcasting the Women on Air radio program.

2. Be responsible for maintaining the Women’s Collective social media presence.

3. Help produce content for the weekly Women on Air radio program.

4. Responsible for general assistance of collective activities including: coordinating rotation of volunteers on the Big Broadcast program and maintaining Women’s Radio Collective audio archive.

5. Assist the Women’s Collective Coordinator organize and co-ordinate the Women’s Radiothon broadcast and fundraiser during CFUV’s annual Fundrive.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Strong organizational skills.
2. Good communication skills.
3. Ability to work independently and with a team.
4. Demonstrated commitment to feminism.
5. Experience with radio an asset but not required.
6. A basic understanding of social media.
