CFUV Presents David Barsamian talking about Media and Democracy at UVic Friday May 15th at 6pm

David Barsamian, host of Alternative Radio, will be giving a talk called Media and Democracy at the University of Victoria on Friday May 15, 2015 at 6pm in the Upper Lounge of the Student Union Building (3800 Finnerty Rd).

David is an award-winning investigative journalist in the independent media landscape. He has written books alongside Noam Chomsky, Eqbal Ahmad, Howard Zinn, Tariq Ali, Richard Wolff, Arundhati Roy and Edward Said and is well-versed in a variety of topics. The suggested donation for admission is $5-10. No one will be turned away for lack of funds.

Alternative Radio airs on CFUV 101.9 FM on Sundays from 8-9am.
