Graduate Student Referendum Question to Support Funding of Beyond the Jargon Program & Podcast!

The Graduate Student Society has put forward a referendum question to Graduate Students requesting their support for a 50 cent fee to support the regular production of our Beyond the Jargon Program & Podcast.

The program features Graduate Students speaking about their research projects in an accessible and personal way. Graduate Students have participated as active producers for the program and we have long had a Graduate Student Representative on our board of directors.

CFUV currently doesn’t collect any fees from Graduate Students. Funding support was established in partnership with the GSS board of directors three years ago and this establishment of a regular fee will keep the program running.

This program has been running for the past three years as a partnership between the GSS and CFUV and we would love to keep it going with the support of Graduate Students.

Graduate Students can vote here as of Weds November 4th, 2015 at 9am. Polls close Friday November 6th, 2015 at 4pm.
