National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women

December 6th marks the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women. A memorial will take place at the University of Victoria on Friday December 3rd. The event is from 11:30am-12:30pm, during which time classes are cancelled. It is located in front of the Petch fountain near the UVic library. A plaque unveiling will take place outside UVic’s Engineering Lab Wing and will commence with a procession following the ceremony.
