CFUV’s own Teddy Aberg has recieved an award from the Consulate of the Sweden for his program Scandinavian Hour which runs weekly on Sundays from 9-10am on CFUV.

Scandinavian Hour is a program for Scandinavians living in Canada and in Nordic countries. Conducted in Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, English and German languages, it can be heard on radio and internet in Victoria and Sweden. The show is a mixture of spoken word and (mostly) Scandinavian music, interviews, phone in calls from listeners and information regarding the local community. The program has been running for over 13 years now and has many listeners locally and in Scandinavia.

Congratulations Teddy from all of us here at CFUV!

First of all – My very best CONGRATULATIONS for the AWARD from the Swedish Consulate and Mr. Anders Neumüller! It must be a wonderful feeling to receive this acknowledgement after all these years at the Scandinavian Radio!I have given you many, many awards by this time:) but this one is an honour for you and your listeners as well. We are all very proud of you Teddy!
You have given so much interesting information and music from Canada and from the Nordic countries too and for me it has a very, very special meaning since I myself once lived in Canada and even worked at the Swedich Consulate by that time at 207 West Hastings Street and Mr Karl A Staahl as a consular!
Second – I wish you a HAPPY BIRTHDAY on the 9th of March and a lot of Swedish Cake = TÃ…RTA:)
Third – I look forward to listen to many, many interesting hours from your Radioshow and I wish you as well GOOD FUNDRIVE LUCK!

Nu har jag nog hittat rätt.

Såååå,det är så det ser ut i studion.
Hur kan du hålla rätt på alla knappar och reglage?
Jag menar, det var ju inget litet Keybord precis.
