Rutledge Park Music Series

For the past few years a group of volunteers has worked hard to bring Music into Rutledge Park on the corner of Inverness Rd. and Cloverdale Ave. There will be 3 evenings at Rutledge Park, Tuesdays, Aug 7th , 14th , and 21st from 6:00 PM -8:00 PM.
The first concert, on Aug 7, will feature Younger Than Yesterday. Armed with outfits and wigs, they cover songs by The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Animals, CCR & more.
Cookeilidh will be playing on the 14th. They are driven by a passion for timeless and traditional Celtic music, enjoy jigs, reels, polkas and a great party atmosphere.
Finally, on Aug 21, Shaky Ground will get you moving to the biggest hits from 5 decades!
An alternate day on August 28th will be reserved in case of rain. Bring a lawn chair or blankets. Hamburgers, hot dogs and fries for sale – pop, chips and ice cream too. Face painting for the children and some booths selling arts and crafts, along with a small Farmer’s Market.
Come on out to Rutledge Park and enjoy some live music!
