First three headliners announced for the TD Victoria International JazzFest 2015!

The first three 2015 festival headliners for the TD Victoria International JazzFest, as part of the Marquee Series at The Royal Theatre, have been announced!
Lisa Fischer, Naturally 7, and Pink Martini will be performing in Victoria as part of the 2015 festival line-up.
“Grammy Award winner Lisa Fischer is a singer known for her wide, high-reaching vocal range. She has been on all tours with the Rolling Stones as a back-up singer since 1989, and she has also toured with Sting, Chris Botti, and Nine Inch Nails. While her duet with Mick Jagger on “Gimme Shelter†has millions of views on YouTube, her name has not appeared on the marquee with these world famous artists. You may have seen her featured in Morgan Neville’s Oscar winning and Grammy nominated documentary film Twenty Feet from Stardom, along with many other top session and backup singers like Darlene Love, Merry Clayton, and Patti Austin, who are “the greatest artists you’ve never heard of” (but whose voices are instantly recognizable). In the wake of the movie’s critical and popular success, Lisa has relaunched her solo career. She’s on to a new leg of her journey, destined for centre stage.”
Tickets go on sale to Victoria Jazz Society members from February 10th to 12th and to the general public on February 13th. All performances are at the Royal Theatre. Get your tickets at the Royal & McPherson Box Offices!
