One Wave Festival
Rising Tides: Our Lands, Our Waters, Our Peoples
The Pacific Peoples’ Partnership is proud to present the 8th annual of One Wave Festival. One Wave is a Pacific Arts and Culture festival taking place September 22nd – 26th throughout the T’Souke, Tsartlip, and Songhees communities, as well as The University of Victoria and Centennial Square.
The goal of One Wave is to strengthen linkages
North-South and between Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities in Victoria by celebrating diverse Pacific cultures and promoting protection of the fragile ecosystems upon which they depend.  This year the festival is being combined with the 22nd Pacific Networking Conference.
This year’s theme is “Rising Tides: Our Lands, Our Waters, Our Peoples.” The event will bring together local groups dedicated to Pacific issues, featuring music, poetry, interactive art, and dance from the South and North Pacific, and the festival will culminate in a free, fun, family-friendly event at Centennial Square on the 26th.
