Superheroes of Victoria

The Superheroes of Victoria charity organization is proud to announce their 3rd annual photo shoot being held at Market Square, from noon – 3pm, in Victoria on Saturday, September 1, to help raise funds in support of the BC Children’s Hospital Foundation’s “Be a Superhero Campaign”.

They are in need of volunteers to be actors/models in costumes in the event. They are looking for 30 volunteers to be in costume (16 male and 14 female), as well as 10-12 out-of-costume volunteers. It will be a good opportunity to advertise the amazing caliber of energetic and helpful people our community has to offer.

Volunteers will be needed to stay in character for the 3-hour event, and are expected to attend as early as 8am for hair, make-up and special effects make-up, depending on the costume.

It will also provide an interesting project for students or alumni to add to their portfolios. Letters of reference can be provided for all volunteers to add to their resumes.
